Dr. Michelle DiStefano

A smile is the most basic expression of joy for people across the world. It is so simple but yet such a great gift to everyone. Helping my patients achieve that is truly one of the most rewarding things in my life! I love being a dentist and can’t imagine doing anything else.

I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine. In addition to my course work, I did an oral surgery externship at the VA Hospital in Philadelphia and an oral medicine externship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, as well as the pediatric honor program at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. I also completed periodontal training at the Uniklinikum Giessen in Germany.

After finishing dental school, I worked as a General Dentist in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, where I was voted one of South Jersey’s top dentist in 2009 and 2010. I moved to Bakersfield, California where I worked with some of the latest technologies in the dental field including Cerec CAD/CAM.

I was born and raised in El Salvador and am fluent in English, Spanish and German. I have two sons. In my spare time I enjoy running and traveling.

I was looking for the perfect location to start my practice and I found it in Pleasant Prairie. I am very excited to be part of the community and am looking forward to the opportunity to meet you and your family.
